When officers arrived, they discovered not just a stray dog, but 38 neglected animals inside a filthy, abandoned home. Among them was Roo, a one-month-old kitten cruelly wrapped in duct tape. Beneath the tape, rescuers found a severely infected front leg, causing Roo intense pain and putting her life at risk. She was rushed to an animal hospital, where vets had no choice but to amputate the leg to stop the deadly infection. See below
