I don’t know what freedom is… The little dog only dreams of the day he can be free.

In a forgotten corner of a backyard, chained to a rusty post, lives a little dog who has never known freedom. Since he was a puppy, he’s been tied up day and night, unable to run, unable to play, unable to explore the world he’s barely been able to see.

His eyes, large and sad, seem to beg for one thing: a chance. A chance to be loved, to run through the grass, to sleep under a warm roof without chains. His thin body and scarred skin are silent witnesses to years of neglect.

Neighbors who have passed by claim to have seen him staring out at the street, as if waiting for someone to come and free him someday. “He never barks. He just stares. As if he knows that yelling won’t help,” says an elderly woman who secretly feeds him.

Animal rescue organizations have been alerted and are working to intervene as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, the little one remains there, silent, with hope intact.

Because even a broken heart can still dream of freedom.
