Tension Inside Kingfisher Nest

Wow, I’ve never seen inside a kingfisher nest before! Incredible to be so close to those beautiful birds. I love how the parent’s bill enters the nest long before you actually see the rest of the Kingfisher. That little fish was almost as long as the chicks, astonishing what baby birds can swallow.
Wow I love learning something new. So even a breeding pair are not enamoured with each other? The disdain is palpable! Lol (It’s like passing someone in a corridor you’re not fond of, and exchanging a cursory polite nod at best. I always say these nest cams are top quality drama – you can keep your soap operas). I’ve not been following the Kingfisher escapades, I’ll have to go back through and catch up! Wonderful stuff.
