He didn’t say goodbye—just handed his dogs to garbage men, as if their loyalty meant nothing, throwing away their love like trash.

This news has outraged many people, but it’s important that it come to light so that those responsible for such cruelty don’t go unpunished.

Currently, these workers are prohibited from accepting animal transport. The workers have said they were unaware of the ban and all they could think about was maybe adopting the dogs.

Days later, the organization managed to locate the alleged owner of the dogs, named Hachi and Pancho. She claims she hadn’t intended to throw them away, but rather had given them to the worker.

She added that the man had been insisting that she give them to him for some time; however, this statement contradicts the statements of the workers, who at no point objected to the organization rescuing them and repeatedly stated that the man had given them to them so they could leave them at the dump.

Fortunately, this organization managed to rescue both dogs, provide them with adequate care, and a few months later, they were put up for adoption. The dogs found good homes, run by humble people who are deeply committed to respecting animals.

Of course, they’re not the only ones in Mexico who help dogs abandoned in garbage dumps; Yolanda Romero has also been rescuing dogs for 20 years.
